Lauren Coons graduated from Carroll University with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and is credentialed through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She grew up doing outreach in her local community and gained an understanding of the diverse needs of underserved populations. She further developed her interest in community health by obtaining a minor in global health in undergrad and attending a service-oriented PA program. Lauren values the opportunity to build trusting relationships with patients and is committed to advocating for health justice while providing her patients with compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care. When she’s not at the health center, Lauren can be found exploring the outdoors, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family.
